New pins for all.

Todas (casi) las mujeres que quiero lucen uno de mis nuevos broches. Las que no lo tienen todavía que no desesperen :)
Y "esos" hombres que desean uno y así lo manifestaron lo recibirán tarde o temprano... y es que los días no me dieron para mas en España.

Design Cover and stuff for Matti's new album "amumú"

¡Por fin! Estas navidades he podido ver como ha quedado todo el material que he diseñado para el segundo album de Matti. La verdad es que me ha gustado mucho el resultado y mas sabiendo que la portada también da testimonio de mi estancia en Helsinki; concretamente la foto la tomé en una de las calles del downtown que se llama Aleksanterinkatu. Por cierto, Matti está de enhorabuena, ya que están nominados junto a grandes nombres del panorama musical Español a tres Premios Pop del V Edición de los Premios Pop-Eye de la Música y la Creación Independiente, en Cáceres: mejor cancion por "Et", mejor Ep por "Amumú" y "grupo revelacion nacional".

Buena suerte chicos, os lo merecéis.

Finally! This Christmas, I have seen all the material I designed for Matti's second album. The truth is I liked the result and more knowing that the cover is also a witness of my stay in Helsinki, particularly the photo was taken in one of the streets of downtown called Aleksanterinkatu. Indeed, Matti are in luck, because they are nominated for  three Pop Awards, alongside great names of Spanish music scene, at the V Annual Awards Pop-Eye and the Independent Music Creation in Cáceres: Best Song for "Et", best Ep for "Amumú" and "national group revelation".

Good luck guys, you deserve it!

"bed" en VIDEOFEST 09, Córdoba - Argentina

Hoy he sabido que mi pieza "bed" ha sido seleccionada para participar en el el Festival de artistas audiovisuales VIDEOFEST 09.

VIDEOFEST '09 se desarrollará los días 11, 12 y 13 de Diciembre '09 en el Centro de Arte Contemporáneo Chateau Carreras, Córdoba, Argentina.

Hei!

Este mes he colaborado en el Fanzine de Artafacta.

Ñorar era la palabra, noviembre era el mes.

La verdad es que ARTAFACTA fue el canal por el que me enteré de la muerte de Paco Bascuñan... y estando en Finalndia, ese hecho me impresiono mucho. Decidí que mi propuesta fuera un homenage directo a él.

I have colaborated with ARTAFACTA fanzine this month.

Ñorar was the chosen word, and November the month.

The truth is that ARTAFACTA was the medium that told me the bad new about the Paco Bascuñan's death, and that fact been in Finland impressed me very much. I decided that my proposal was a direct homage to him.

Diseñando como en los viejos tiempos / Doing Designs like old times

Estos días he vuelto a diseñar mucho... como en los viejos tiempos... webs, logos, imágenes de simposios, portadas de discos, txapas...
Mañana comienza el OpenSymposium para el que Blanca y yo hemos estado organizando todo el tema gráfico. La verdad es que aunque serán muy intensos e intensivos estos dos días me va a servir de mucho ya que los Keynotes son ponentes con temas muy interesantes.

Por otro lado esta el tema del Record Guinnes... ya están pegados los carteles y la web está online desde hace mucho tiempo. El día D es el sábado en Suommelina... espero que el tiempo nos de un poquito de tregua y sobrepasemos la barrera de los cero grados. Yo esperaba que la web fuera mas rollo MTV, pero ya se sabe que el cliente es el cliente y siempre gusta de esos toques que arrancian... ya me entendéis. Uno que se yo está deseando que llegue el día... para luego marcharse a Rusia...
Y mas cosas... he estado trabajando en otros asuntos de una manera muy intensa... sobre los que presumiblemente tendré resultados muy pronto... ya os contaré.

These days I have designed a lot ... like old times ... Websites, logos, Symposium images, album covers, Txapas ...
The OpenSymposium will be tomorrow for which Blanca and I have been organizing all the graphics. The truth is that will be very intense and intensive two days although Keynotes are speakers with very interesting topics.
On the other hand there is The Guinness Record theme ... and posters are already glued and the website is online since a long time. D-Day is on Saturday at Suommelina Island ... We hope that weather will give us little bit of respite and overcomes zero degrees barrier. I wanted a website with a MTV style, but you know that the customer is the boss,  and likes this fusty touch... you know what I mean. "One" that i know is waiting the day... and then go to Russia ...
And more things ... I've been working very intensive on other issues ... on which presumably I will have results very soon ... I will tell you about.

bed # new video project

Hoy he empezado a trabajar en un nuevo proyecto de vídeo.
La idea la tenía en la cabeza desde hacía mucho tiempo, pero no veía el camino para empezar a ejecutarla.
La cama siempre me han inspirado, antes de dormir, mientras duermo y nada mas despertar...
